You're only old once!
by Dr. Seuss.
Subtitled A Book for Obsolete Children, this unusual item in the Seuss canon doesn't really belong among the children's books. Written to celebrate the nonsense master's 82nd birthday, it follows "you" (an elderly gent in a suit and white moustache) through a physical check-up in some fiendish geriatric clinic. You are measured, prodded, and subjected to all the medical indignities familiar and unfamiliar to the elderly.

Don't worry, be crabby! : Maxine's guide to life
Maxine tells you everything you need to know to lead a long and crabby life for example:
Keep your nose to the grindstone, and your shoulder to the wheel....it's cheaper than plastic surgery!

And another thing! : Maxine on life, love and losers
Maxine tackles the biggest, most irritating subjects as only she can...When I pause to look back on my life, I sometimes get insights, sometimes wisdom, and sometimes a sense of perspective.  Of course, the only thing I'm sure to get is a crick in my neck... and that really set me off!
